BDYTEK Security is a family-owned business, founded on the Central Coast in 2018 by two locals who had each spent more than 16 years in security management. Between them, our founders held senior integrated-service management roles at major shopping centres - the kind of high-volume, high-accountability environments where calm coordination matters far more than presence alone.
That background still shapes how we work. We treat security as operational risk management, not bouncer culture. Every site is planned, briefed and run to a standard, because the people we protect - and the people who work for us - deserve a team that does what it says it will do.
Today we protect 38-plus venues and clients across the Central Coast, Sydney and the Newcastle and Hunter region, spanning events, venues and retail. We operate under NSW Master Licence 000105322 and carry $20M public liability cover, and every engagement runs to the CONTROL Method - our consistent framework for assessing risk, briefing teams and holding the room.

The team behind the calm
Behind every venue we protect is a larger, vetted field team, led by people who have spent their careers managing security at scale. The people who set our standard are only the start of it.
Our leadership is hands-on and experienced - founders with more than 16 years each in security management, drawn from senior shopping-centre integrated-services backgrounds where calm, coordinated risk management is the whole job. They are not removed from the floor; they set the standard, then work to hold it.
That standard runs through a much larger field team than most clients expect - licensed guards, supervisors, RSA marshals and crowd controllers, all vetted and held to one way of operating. This is operational risk management, not bouncer culture. Every person who wears the BDYTEK name is selected, trained and accountable to the same expectations, so what you experience on a quiet Tuesday is what you experience on the busiest night of the year.
We deploy as named teams with continuity, supervision at every level and genuine local presence. The same faces return to the same sites, supervisors know each venue's rhythms, and there is always a clear line of responsibility above every guard. A deep, well-run team is how we keep a room calm, night after night.
For our people's safety, we don't publish individual names or photos online - it's a deliberate part of how a professional security firm operates. Every person on your site is fully licensed and vetted, and you'll know exactly who is looking after you: your team is named to you in your operational plan.
